Introducing Tessa

Hi Everyone! I'm one of your lecturers for Contextual Studies, or as we like to call it, "Thinking About Doing." That is, looking at the relationship between theory and practice, ideas and the creative stuff that goes on in your studio and drawing classes.

Things you should know about me: I'm currently teaching part time (2 days a week) because I am studying at Elam for my Doctorate of Fine Arts. Research is a BIG influence on my practice. This picture of me, which was taken in my studio, shows me with a pile of clay books - these are copies of all the books I'm reading for my Doctorate (and believe me, the pile keeps expanding!)
