Joanne these two watercolours you have posted really interested me because of:

a) The lovely loose style

b) They appear shrouded in a thin white veil or
ribboned effect

c) This creates a mood of mystery which appeals to me

i find there's a real sense of movement in a lot of his works. he has a real photographic approach to his works and his use of cropping is really powerful. also just the subject matter, its nostalgic and the colours he uses mimics sun-damaged old photos. really excellent stuff. it's pretty punk

hey joanne ! im really interested in this style Christopher st Leger has painted because he uses water colour which i really want to master oneday ! i think those images you put up are awesome haha! the loose style is very effective and i might use that technique more often because it shows real good sense of movement and style.
