I have chosen Jenny Holzer as the artist I will focus on for my essay. I will look at three of her pieces from three different series of work (Trusims 1977, Laments 1988, For the City 2005)
Jenny uses text as her art, in public spaces, causing people to be confronted with simple truths as they go about their daily lives.

Thanks Leah,
Your mind map seems detailed, and I know there is a huge amount of material on Holzer, so you should be able to construct a fascinating essay!
