BANKSY

for my essay i am going to talk about the world renown and subversive street artist banksy. the reason for choosing banksy is because i admire his controversial art aswell as his use of technique using stencil art, spray paint and graffiti. I also like his sculptural art and filmaking.

With this artwork i just find funny. obviously as you can see in this image banksy is not a big fan towards the police and law enforcement system

BANKSY'S "NAPALM"

this work here i also found very interesing. its about how the usa launched a nuclear bomb in napalm vietnam and this little young vietnamese girl trying to escape running away with the help of ronald mcdonald and mikey mouse who are two american commercial figures. this also symbolises the fact that there fellow american heroes who are meant to be protecting and serving their country are in a different country bombing places with innocent children.

BANKSY'S "CHANGE"

My last piece of artwork from bansky "change" i find one of my fav artworks from banksy not only because of the image buh also the text used in the image and its meaning behind it. i find it very anti towards authority and the government with the way they deal with political issues and the abuse of power that they hold
