1. This photo is still one of my favorites would have to be this as is was one of the first images that i looked up on the web that helped influence my level 3 photography work while trying to think of geometric shapes to use and eventually leading to projecting shadows from transparent set squares.

2. Any other images that i like would be manipulated photography or paintings...
Such as Duane Michals - Illuminated man

3. - Who am I - Duane Michals

4. Kaleidoscopes also inspire me with their manipulated look, shapes and colours.

5. Graphic novels - Umbrella academy, an excellent read that made me go over the graphic novel 10 times or more and i don't read often. This graphic novel also assisted me with my level 2 photography board which was bring a comic to life.

Thanks Daniel, some interesting things starting to emerge here, but some more detail on what you like about manipulated photography, playing with reality, spatial illusion, etc... would be helpful. What attracts you to this far out, trippy stuff?

I love the photography you've submitted by Duane Michals....are they from the 60's/70's era? It kind of has a retro feel to it.
Was just surfing the web and came across this link: 80 Excellent Examples of Photo Manipulation. There are some pretty wicked pics on there. I've done a little bit of photography myself but have never really thought about manipulation or adding something extra to it, after seeing this page it's given me a few ideas. I thought you might like it too!
