Hi Sophie, the words to your descriptive poem fit so perfectly! It envelopes and enhances the the sombre mood, giving it an explanation and capturing the moment whether it is dream or reality. I think this artwork tells a story beyond the picture, beyond what the veiwer sees. There are two artists you may be interested in; firstly is Johanna Pietermann who is similar but more realistic and Marc England who I think suits the style of your post in a more contemporary style!... still enhancing the mysterious, sombre, mystical, gothic, solumn, concious or unconcious stylism. thanks for the opp to look at 3 new artists!!
