Brian De Palma's work generates ideas involving a lot of
negativity. His movies involve a lot of sex, drugs, and violence which is
very common in movies. However, Brian's use of effective cinematography reveals these
issues on a more extreme level. In this mind map, I also mentioned Hispanic because his
films include a lot of Hispanic people, perhaps he tries to reveal how the world see's Hispanic
people, in a stereotypical/racial way.

There are the beginnings of an interesting essay topic here, but I'm wondering which angle you will take? Will you base your whole essay around the stereotypical depiction of Hispanic people in de Palma's movies? That could be quite a specific subject, and focusing on that would give structure to your essay.

hey Ian if you like the movie scarface you should check out the game on ps2 it takes you back in time to the 80's also their is a doco on this movie wherer rappers like scarface and puff daddy talk about how this movie influenced them.
you might be intrested to know that there was alot of contreversy over who directed this film as there where alot of falling outs between staff on this movie I think the original director quit

you should look at how his movies have changed stylistically and the tone and plot and stuff through out his career. how his films have adapted with technology and cultural shifts.
