in this image of Muhammid Ali is in the centre of the picture which shows hi's dominancy . there's positive and negativity also shown in the picture. also this image shows composition portraying a triangle and how muhammid ali is on the very tip ov the triangle.

I like the harsh lighting in this image, it makes the two foreground images stand out even more, the background seems to fade into darkness which also adds to the contrast. I like the fact that you pointed out the compositional structure of this piece, that the two images form a sort of triangle. You should check out artists who use more complex compositions, such as Andre Kertesz, some of his works are of skyscrapers, but the best part about those images are the compositions. Try to make out shapes throughout his pieces, it's a challenge but i'm sure you'll find it interesting.
i do like the positive and negative on this image because the background dose seem to fade into the darkness, you got good eyes Scorpian. Nice and Magic i like he photo of Ali. Good photo
Also the way the lines of the rope things lead to him... He dominates the image fulling both halves of the image and this gives him a look of huge power and RAOR!
Thanks Magic,
All the things you say are true but it would be nice if you could bring a new twist to the image rather than just repeating things that were said in class.
Also, it would be nice to know the photographer and date. And you could mention that this is cropped differently, and in black and white, than the original image we saw in class. How does this change the way we perceive it?
Not to mention Ali's signature which has been scrawled on the photo - so that this becomes a publicity shot for him. Does this change the way we react to this shot as well?

Ian,
three comments later, I see this must be the one I should assess, as it is on task. (tricky) Your suggestion of Kertesz is very helpful, well done keep up the good work.

Matalio,
you have mentioned some positive and negative space, which is great. Although it would be helpful if you talked about the image with words that have not been used by other post's. Your comments are usually very supportive, this is good to see.
