Martin Scorsese, a really good choice. I only say this because he has a lot of great movies in his really long career, which proves how hard he works. To find information, you can check his work on IMDb.com, this website shows all the names of his movies and the movie details too. Theres also his official website called scorsesefilms.com which also shares information on him. The last suggestion is to rent some of his movies, i recommend renting movies from the beginning of his career and his latest works, just so you can see how his work develops over time, but thats for you to decide :)
gee thanx, lol i know most of his mvz already but okay :P
Thanks Burda,
This is an excellent mind-map with a lot of juicy concepts that you will definitely be able to get stuck into in an essay.
I also think you will find a lot has been written about Scorcese in scholarly film magazines, which we have in the library, such as Sight and Sound. We also have a lot of these as "eJournals" which you can access using your login through our library website.
The only thing you left out was saying which three films you would like to choose from across Scorsese's career, and why you would choose them.
TX
all done :)
Ian,
your suggestions for Burda include reference sources and this will be a great help to Burda when she comes to work on her essay, good work
